Waiting is hard. Whether you’re longing for reconciliation in broken relationships, waiting for the recognition you believe you deserve, or simply seeking clarity for the next step, it can feel like God is silent. But in His silence, He is still working.
Isaiah 40:31 reminds us:
“But those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
God’s Timing Heals More Than Just You
Maybe you’ve made mistakes—decisions that hurt others, damaged trust, or strained relationships. You’ve owned your failures, sought forgiveness, and yet, things aren’t fully restored. It’s frustrating when you want healing now, but remember: God isn’t just working in you—He’s working in them too. True healing isn’t rushed; it’s refined. Joseph waited years to see his family restored, but in the process, God shaped him into the leader he was meant to be (Genesis 50:20).
The Recognition You Seek is in His Hands
Or maybe you’ve been faithfully leading, pouring yourself into your calling, but the acknowledgment you long for hasn’t come. David was anointed king as a young man, but he had to wait years before stepping into that role. He was overlooked, hunted, and tested—but in the waiting, God strengthened his character. The same is true for you. Your faithfulness isn’t wasted, and when God promotes you, no one can stop it.
Strength for the Wait
Waiting on the Lord isn’t passive—it’s an active trust that He is working even when you can’t see it. He promises to renew your strength, not just for your benefit, but so you can rise above discouragement, continue leading well, and ultimately, be a testimony of His faithfulness to others.
So, if you’re in a season of waiting—whether for healing, recognition, or direction—hold fast. God is moving, and when He comes through, it won’t just be for you. It will be a testimony that impacts many.
